Matthew Waatti is the owner of LandStar serving Montana’s sub-market specializing in Commercial and Residential real estate sales, leasing, and development. With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, he has secured over 70 transactions with a volume valued in excess of $35 million. Prior to creating LandStar Matthew was senior vice president of Grubb & Ellis, a commercial real estate company, he also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Peak Development, formerly Peak Development and Property Management. Under his leadership Matthew and is companies have built and sold more lifestyle retail centers, multi-family housing units and condominium complexes than any other local developer. Additionally, he oversaw the design and building of the Kalispell Regional medical Center Cancer Treatment Hospital, the largest cancer treatment center in the Northwest. Other projects include 60 residential condos on Flathead Lake, 12 unit apartment building, South Field Plaza consisting of 5 retail and office buildings over 75,000 Square Feet, several retail strips and single tenant buildings throughout Montana with tenants such as Goodwill, Qdoba, Dream Sleep, UPS, Five Guys, City Brew Coffee, Edward Jones, Little Caesar’s, Ashley Furniture and many more.

Cecil Waatti - Salesperson
Cecil Waatti is a realtor at LandStar who specializes in commercial leasing, development, and investment property sales. He also works with commercial real estate clients as a general manager for tenant improving and development projects. In 2012, as a business management student at Flathead Valley Community College, Cecil began working at Grubb & Ellis, a commercial real estate company, as an office manager. He transitioned to commercial and residential sales when he joined the LandStar team in 2014. Since then, he has worked with many commercial clients and realtors. He obtained his brokers license from Twilite Business Center in Great Falls in 2015, and has since closed over 30 transactions with a volume valued at $4 million.

Layne Massie Junior - Realtor
Layne Massie Jr. is the newest addition to the LandStar Group and uses his experience as an Economics major at Montana State University to analyze the local commercial and residential real estate markets. Growing up in the Flathead Valley has helped Layne to know the area inside and out and put him ahead of the curve in sales. In his first year as an agent he has already closed on multiple deals, working closely with buyers, sellers and developers to find perfect matches. Layne received his Montana Real Estate license in March 2017.
